Warranty Periods

Transcend's Warranty Policy includes Warranty Terms and Conditions and Warranty Periods. Please read them with care.

  • Consumer products are not suitable for equipment of long-term and continuous use, including but not limited to the following devices or conditions:
    1. Loop Recording Devices / Dashcams
    2. Video surveillance equipment
    3. Uninterrupted data recording devices (i.e. Servers and NAS)
    4. Storage write-intensive applications, such as virtual currency operations.
    5. Other circumstances beyond general use or Transcend’s warranty. Transcend will determine based on actual conditions whether the original warranty period is applicable. If not, Transcend might not be able to provide this warranty service.

Limited Lifetime Warranty Service

  • Your Transcend product is covered by limited Lifetime Warranty Service starting from the original purchase date until the end of the product life cycle*. (Determined by Transcend)
  • Some countries or states have legislative limitations on how long a warranty could last, so this Limited Lifetime Warranty may not apply to you. However, it does not affect your statutory rights to enjoy the longest warranty period permitted under applicable laws.
  • The replacement product provided by Transcend under the Limited Lifetime Warranty will be warranted for the warranty period under the latest Warranty Policy.

Limited Warranty Service

  • Your Transcend product is covered by limited Warranty Service under the specified warranty period starting from the original purchase date.
  • SSD products and memory cards are covered by the Warranty Service only when the S.M.A.R.T. analysis tested by Transcend is greater than 0%.
  • For SSDs with factory installed heatsinks, removal of heatsink may cause damage to the SSD and will void the product warranty.
